Das Wiener BezirksLiga Regulativ definiert klare Regeln und Richtlinien, um einen geordneten Ablauf und faire Bedingungen bei allen Tischtennis-Begegnungen zwischen den Wiener Bezirken sicherzustellen. Anpassungen können bei Bedarf erfolgen.
Alle Teilnehmenden sind verpflichtet, diese Regeln einzuhalten, um einen reibungslosen Ablauf zu gewährleisten.

Diese BezirksLIGA ermöglicht flexible Teamgestaltungen innerhalb der Wiener Bezirke und setzt auf effektive Kommunikation. Teilnehmer*innen sollten aktiv auf Anfragen reagieren, um einen reibungslosen Ablauf zu gewährleisten.
Unsere kostenlose Wiener Tischtennis App ist dabei unerlässlich und Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme. Sie bietet Video-, Sprach- und Text-Chat sowie alle wichtigen Informationen wie Spielergebnisse, Terminänderungen und Mitteilungen.
Wichtiger Hinweis: Die Nutzung externer Kommunikations-Apps ist in der BezirksLIGA untersagt. Solche Tools stören den reibungslosen Austausch und schließen potenzielle Teilnehmer*innen aus, was den Werten von Tischtennis Hobby Wien widerspricht.
Unsere Wiener Tischtennis App bietet alle notwendigen Funktionen kostenlos und diskriminierungsfrei. Die bewusste Nutzung externer Plattformen kann Konsequenzen nach sich ziehen, einschließlich Ausschluss aus allen Kanälen von Tischtennis Hobby Wien. Dieses Verhalten widerspricht der Philosophie unserer Idee – Tischtennis in Wien gemeinsam zu fördern.
Jeder Wiener Bezirk stellt ein BezirksTeam und kann zusätzlich weitere Teams ins Rennen schicken. Dadurch steigt die Chance, durch parallele Spiele mehr Punkte zu sammeln.
Ein Team besteht aus mindestens zwei Spieler/innen und organisiert eigenverantwortlich Trainings sowie Begegnungen mit anderen BezirksTeams.
Registrierte Vereinsspieler/innen dürfen nicht gemeinsam in einem Team antreten. Diese Regel soll weniger geübten Hobbyspieler/innen eine faire Chance bieten und unterstreicht unser Ziel, Tischtennis für ALLE zugänglich zu machen.
Wir empfehlen, eine/n Teamkapitän/in und ggf. eine/n Stellvertreter/in zu ernennen, die die Koordination übernehmen. Diese Personen sind dafür verantwortlich, neue Spieler/innen, die Interesse an dieser BezirksLIGA haben, zeitnah in die festgelegten Bezirksaktivitäten wie z. B. das wöchentliche Training einzubinden.
Falls die Kapitän/e/innen ihre Aufgaben nicht ordnungsgemäß wahrnehmen, kann das restliche Team diese Verantwortung übernehmen. Der Teamgedanke steht im Vordergrund und sollte intern geklärt werden. Entscheidend sind die gemeinsamen Aktivitäten – der Sport soll im Mittelpunkt stehen, nicht das Ego Einzelner.
Zudem sollten BezirksTeams aktiv neue Mitglieder werben, z. B. mit Hilfe unserer Wiener Tischtennis App.
Nachnennungen und Teamwechsel
Auch nach der Nennfrist (31.12.2024) können Einzelpersonen oder Teams in die BezirksLiga einsteigen, jedoch mit einem Rückstand in der Gesamtwertung. Ein Teamwechsel innerhalb eines Kalenderjahres ist nur bei Unstimmigkeiten möglich, muss schriftlich beantragt und von beiden Parteien begründet werden.
Effektive Kommunikation und Flexibilität
Teams mit mehreren aktiven Spieler*innen können gleichzeitig Begegnungen gegen verschiedene Bezirke austragen, um ihren Punkteertrag zu maximieren. Begegnungen innerhalb desselben Bezirks zählen nicht zur Wertung, können aber als Training genutzt werden. Respektvolle und klare Kommunikation innerhalb und zwischen den Teams ist essenziell.
Diese Struktur schafft Flexibilität und fördert Wettbewerb sowie den Teamgeist in der Wiener Tischtennis Szene.
Diese Flexibilität ist ein herausragendes Merkmal unserer Liga.
Diese BezirksLIGA steht allen Tischtennis Begeisterten offen, unabhängig von Herkunft, Geschlecht, Alter oder Spielstärke – ob Hobbyspieler*innen, Vereinsmitglieder oder Gelegenheitsspieler*innen. Diese Vielfalt wird von der Stadt Wien und dem gemeinnützigen Verein Tischtennis Hobby Wien unterstützt.
Unser Ziel ist es, traditionelle Strukturen zu überwinden und den Fokus auf Aktivität und Freude am Wiener Tischtennis zu legen. Teilnehmer*innen wählen ihren Bezirk basierend auf Wohn- oder Arbeitsnähe. Spieler*innen aus angrenzenden Bundesländern können den nächstgelegenen Bezirk wählen.
Selektives Spielverhalten oder diskriminierende Ausgrenzung anderer wird nicht toleriert. Wer solchen Praktiken nachgehen möchte, ist in unserer Plattform fehl am Platz.
Der Spielmodus dieser Wiener Tischtennis BezirksLIGA ist einfach und flexibel, ideal für alle mit begrenzter Zeit. BezirksTeams organisieren ihre Termine eigenständig, koordiniert durch den gewählten Kapitän/BezirksLeiter.
Begegnungen müssen innerhalb von 7 Tagen stattfinden. Mehrere Teams eines Bezirks können parallel gegen andere Bezirke antreten. Pro Begegnung spielen mindestens zwei Spieler*innen je Team in zwei Einzeln und einem Doppel, jeweils auf zwei gewonnene Sätze bis 11 Punkte (mit zwei Punkten Unterschied). Das siegreiche Team sammelt Punkte für die Tabelle, während auch die Aktivität nicht erfolgreicher Teams belohnt wird.
Die Tabelle wird wöchentlich aktualisiert und ist auf unserer Website einsehbar. Spielergebnisse sind zeitnah per E-Mail an office@tischtennishobbywien.at oder über die Wiener Tischtennis App im jeweiligen vorgesehenen Kanal zu übermitteln.
Der Spielort in der Wiener BezirksLiga muss abwechselnd an öffentlichen Tischtennisplätzen in verschiedenen Bezirken stattfinden. Zwei Spiele im gleichen Bezirk sind nicht erlaubt, um Chancengleichheit zu gewährleisten. Ausgenommen sind die vier Sport & Fun Hallen der Stadt Wien oder nach Ankündigung in der Tischtennis Halle vom Verein Tischtennis Hobby Wien. Spiele auf privaten Wohnhausanlagen sind nur mit Zustimmung aller Beteiligten gestattet.
Einnahmen aus privaten Hobbyräumen oder Vereins- bzw. Verbands Tischtennis Hallen sind verboten, da dies dem gemeinnützigen Gedanken widerspricht. Verstöße führen zum sofortigen Ausschluss aus der Liga.
In dieser BezirksLIGA werden Einzel- und Doppelspiele ausgetragen, bei denen Teams für Siege und auch für die Teilnahme Punkte erhalten. Die Punktzahl variiert je nach Spielintensität des Vorjahres. Diese Regelung stärkt die BezirksTeams und fördert regelmäßige Aktivitäten, um den Mannschaftstitel zu gewinnen.
Für die Punktevergabe zählt vor allem die Aktivität, also die Vereinbarung von Begegnungen zwischen BezirksTeams. Alle Spiele müssen über unsere Wiener Tischtennis App koordiniert und dokumentiert werden. Die Ergebnisse werden wöchentlich aktualisiert und sind in der Rangliste auf unserer Webseite einsehbar.
In Bezirken mit vielen Teilnehmer*innen können auch zwei Teams gleichzeitig gegen andere BezirksTeams antreten, um mehr Punkte zu sammeln und sich in der Rangliste besser zu positionieren. Diese Struktur fördert sowohl die sportliche Entwicklung als auch die Gemeinschaft und den Spaß am Tischtennis in Wien!

Dezember 2025 – Prämierung des SIEGER – Teams der Wiener Tischtennis BezirksLIGA
Die Präsentation der Wiener BezirksLIGA ist entscheidend für ihren Erfolg. Teilnehmer*innen tragen aktiv dazu bei, diese Liga lebendig zu halten, indem sie Fotos oder Videos in unserer Wiener Tischtennis App teilen können, um andere zu motivieren. Jedes BezirksTeam ist dafür verantwortlich, sein Team zu vergrößern, um Ausfälle auszugleichen und die Kontinuität der Spiele zu sichern.
Beim Teilen von Inhalten auf unseren Plattformen muss der Datenschutz beachtet werden. Fotos oder Videos von anderen Personen dürfen nur mit deren Zustimmung veröffentlicht werden.

Der gemeinnützige Verein Tischtennis Hobby Wien möchte erneut betonen, dass die Wiener BezirksLiga ins Leben gerufen wurde, um Tischtennis in Wien sichtbarer zu machen und die sportliche Vielfalt in den Wiener Bezirken zu fördern. Mit Unterstützung der Stadt Wien ist es uns wichtig, den Erhalt und die Renovierung öffentlicher Tischtennisplatten sicherzustellen. So soll nicht nur der gesellschaftliche Aspekt, sondern auch der Gesundheitsnutzen für alle Teilnehmenden und Interessierten im Fokus stehen.
Die Gründung der Wiener BezirksLiga durch Tischtennis Hobby Wien ist eine fest im Verein verankerte, geschützte Sportstruktur, die darauf abzielt, dem Wiener Tischtennissport mehr Aufmerksamkeit zu verschaffen. Von dieser Initiative können zahlreiche Strukturen profitieren, die mit diesem Ballsport in Berührung stehen und seine Förderung unterstützen.
Sollten Personen, Organisationen oder Vereine versuchen, unser nachhaltiges Engagement durch Verleumdungen zu sabotieren und damit dem Wiener Tischtennissport sowie unserem Verein, Tischtennis Hobby Wien, Schaden zuzufügen, behalten wir uns vor, rechtliche Schritte einzuleiten.
English Version
The BezirksLiga promotes flexible team organization within the Viennese districts. This requires effective communication both within the districts and beyond their borders. We expect a high level of activity from all participants when making inquiries and a speedy response to ensure that the table tennis matches run smoothly.
To support this communication, we use our free Vienna Table Tennis App. This application offers functions for video, voice and text chat to facilitate the exchange with table tennis acquaintances and in our Viennese table tennis community. The activation of our app is a prerequisite for participation in the BezirksLiga!
All relevant information is provided in our Vienna Table Tennis App, including match results, postponements and other notifications.
Important note: It is prohibited to use external communication apps for communication for the BezirksLiga. The use of such tools outside of our Vienna Table Tennis App not only impairs the smooth flow of communication between the Vienna districts, but also excludes other users from our table tennis community in a discriminatory manner – especially those who may wish to participate in the next match. This contradicts the values of our non-profit association Tischtennis Hobby Wien.
However, if external platforms such as WhatsApp groups or other messenger services are used for communication and the impression is created that this is deliberately done to harm the community of Tischtennis Hobby Wien and what it exists for, we reserve the right to take action as an association. Our Vienna Table Tennis App offers all necessary communication functions free of charge and without restrictions for all members. Persons who continue to rely on external means of communication will therefore be excluded from all platforms of Tischtennis Hobby Wien without further notice.
Such behavior does not correspond to the philosophy of our Viennese table tennis platform!
Each district in Vienna forms a District Team and can additionally enter multiple teams. This increases the chances of earning more points through parallel matches.
A team consists of at least two players and is responsible for organizing training sessions and matches with other District Teams independently.
Registered club players are not allowed to compete together in the same team. This rule ensures that less experienced hobby players have a fair chance and reinforces our goal of making table tennis accessible to EVERYONE.
We recommend appointing a team captain and, if necessary, a deputy to coordinate team activities. These individuals are responsible for integrating new players interested in the District League into established district activities, such as weekly training sessions, in a timely manner.
If the captains do not fulfill their responsibilities properly, the rest of the team can take over these duties. The team spirit is the priority and should be managed internally. The focus should remain on shared activities and the sport itself, rather than individual egos.
Additionally, District Teams should actively recruit new members, for example, using our Vienna Table Tennis App.
Even after the registration deadline (December 31, 2024), individual players or teams can join the District League, but they will start with a points deficit in the overall ranking. A team change within a calendar year is only possible in case of disagreements, must be requested in writing, and requires justification from both parties.
Teams with multiple active players can play matches against different districts simultaneously to maximize their points. Matches within the same district do not count towards the ranking but can be used for training purposes. Respectful and clear communication within and between teams is essential.
This structure ensures flexibility and fosters competition as well as team spirit in Vienna’s table tennis scene.
This flexibility is a key feature of our league.
This District League is open to all table tennis enthusiasts, regardless of origin, gender, age, or skill level—whether hobby players, club members, or occasional players. This diversity is supported by the City of Vienna and the non-profit organization Tischtennis Hobby Wien.
Our goal is to break away from traditional structures and focus on activity and the joy of playing table tennis in Vienna. Participants choose their district based on their place of residence or work. Players from neighboring federal states may select the nearest district.
Selective participation or discriminatory exclusion of others will not be tolerated. Those who engage in such practices have no place on our platform.
In order to participate in the BezirksLiga, a free registration in our Vienna Table Tennis App is required. The application collects the necessary personal data (such as e-mail address, telephone number and date of birth) to ensure that you are a natural person. The Tischtennis Hobby Wien club does not have any access to this data!
After registering in our app on Discord, you enter your wish to participate in the district league in the channel provided and select your own Viennese district in the corresponding table. Please enter your full name and Discord name so that the district team can get in touch with the players.
To facilitate the organization, we recommend appointing a district leader who welcomes new members and provides information about future meetings and training sessions.
The Vienna Table Tennis District League is deliberately designed to be simple and flexible in order to accommodate those who have little time for their favorite sport. The high degree of flexibility in scheduling makes the system particularly attractive. The district teams organize their own match dates, with the captain chosen by each team taking on the coordination.
Each match should take place within 7 days. It is also possible for several teams from one district to play against teams from other districts at the same time. In each match, at least two players per team play two singles and one doubles match, each to two sets won to 11 points, with a difference of two points. The winning team collects points for the overall table, in addition the activity of the unsuccessful team is also rewarded.
The table is updated weekly and can be viewed on our official website. Match results must be submitted promptly – either by e-mail to office@tischtennishobbywien.at or as a message in the corresponding channel of the Vienna Table Tennis App.
The venue is one of the most important factors in the running of the Vienna District League. The individual district teams must take turns arranging table tennis matches in the various Viennese districts at their many public table tennis courts. It is not permitted to hold two consecutive matches in the same district. This rule ensures that no district team receives a significant advantage in terms of the venue. This means that both the home advantage and the away rule apply during active matches.
Exceptions to this rule are the four Sport & Fun halls of the City of Vienna, which can be used by all district teams. In the case of private residential facilities, it is necessary for all participating players to give their consent before matches are played there.
Furthermore, it is prohibited to generate income from private hobby rooms, table tennis club rooms or association halls, as this contradicts our non-profit concept. Violations of these regulations will result in immediate exclusion from the league!
In the BezirksLiga, singles and doubles matches are played to determine the winner of a table tennis match. The team receives points for winning a match. In addition, points are also awarded for participation, even if the match is lost. These points received vary depending on the intensity of play in the previous year, as explained in our example.
This regulation serves to strengthen the district teams and give them the opportunity to be even more successful in future matches. At the same time, it promotes the fight for the team title in our district league through regular activities at the Viennese table tennis tables.
Particularly important! The activity of arranging matches with other district teams is particularly important for scoring points. It is therefore essential to coordinate and document every match via our Vienna Table Tennis App. The results are updated weekly and can be viewed at any time in a ranking list on our website.
If many participants are registered in a Viennese district, it is possible to play a match day with two district teams from other Viennese districts at the same time. This increases the chance of collecting more points for the overall ranking of the district and positioning yourself better as a team in the district league.
With this structure, we not only promote the sporting development of the district teams, but also strengthen the community and the fun of table tennis in Vienna!

The presentation of our Vienna District League is an essential part of its success, much like a table tennis bat and ball. All participants must be aware that their activities are crucial to keeping the league alive. The responsibility for the growth of the BezirksLiga does not lie solely with our social media channels. Rather, activities such as posting photos or videos in our Vienna Table Tennis App can be an essential lever to motivate other players to actively participate in the league.
It is up to each individual district team to ensure that their own team grows. A larger selection of players makes it easier to compensate for absences and ensure the continuity of matches.
We would like to point out that data protection must be observed when sharing content on our platforms. The publication of photos or videos showing other people requires their consent. All participants should therefore ensure that they only share content for which they have the necessary rights and the consent of those involved.
Note:
The non-profit association Tischtennis Hobby Wien would like to emphasize once again that the Wiener BezirksLiga was created to make table tennis more visible in Vienna and to promote sporting diversity in Vienna’s districts. With the support of the City of Vienna, it is important to us to ensure the maintenance and renovation of public table tennis tables. The focus is not only on the social aspect, but also on the health benefits for all participants and interested parties.
The establishment of the Vienna District League by Tischtennis Hobby Wien is a protected sports structure firmly anchored in the association that aims to raise the profile of table tennis in Vienna. Numerous structures that are in contact with this ball sport and support its promotion can benefit from this initiative.
Should individuals, organizations or clubs attempt to sabotage our sustainable commitment through defamation and thus cause damage to Viennese table tennis and our club, Tischtennis Hobby Wien, we reserve the right to take legal action.
